Adult Classes
We Believe It’s Never Too Late to Learn, Improve, and Shine
our Adult Classes at Skafa Islamic School
At Skafa Islamic School, our Adult Education Program is specially designed for individuals who did not have the opportunity to receive formal education earlier in life. With compassion, patience, and faith, we provide a path for adults to read, write, count, and understand their religion with confidence and dignity.
From flexible learning schedules to personalized, respectful teaching, and an environment rooted in Islamic values, every learner is supported at their own pace. Most importantly, our program is designed to restore confidence, build new skills, and prepare participants for a more empowered and enlightened future—in both Dunya and Akhirah.
What Makes Our Secondary Program Exceptional
Our Adult Education program is built on the understanding that every learner’s journey is unique, and we support that growth through:
- We teach the basics of reading, writing, and arithmetic in English and Hausa, helping adult learners gain practical skills for everyday life and future opportunities.
- Students learn how to read the Qur’an, understand basic Islamic rulings, and practice their faith with more knowledge and confidence.
- Classes are held in the evenings and weekends to accommodate work and family schedules. Every learner is respected and never rushed—our goal is to support, not judge.
- Lessons are tailored to each learner’s level and ability, offering one-on-one guidance where needed. Whether someone is learning from scratch or picking up where they left off, we meet them where they are.
- Beyond academics, we incorporate communication, etiquette, and practical life lessons, helping adults grow in independence, purpose, and self-esteem.
- Our adult learners study in a peaceful, respectful, and Islamic setting where they are treated with dignity and motivated to become better versions of themselves—both spiritually and intellectually.
